"I grew up on 13th street Atlantic Avenue- I remember this place as far back as 1959 when I moved to Cocoa Beach. The Beaches are great and ready to take a vaction this spring from Texas and visit home- I was married on the Beach just 10 short years ago at 13th street while still living in Texas- I loved the Cocoa Beach area. My alumni associates were reviewing this place on facebook and I started thinking about returning for a short vacation. They tell me it is better than ever- A must distination for Beach and other major attractions in Central Florida. "We recently stayed at Surf Studio for 7 days. We loved the accommodations, the deck, the ocean, the pool and the entire staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and available if we needed anything.
The rooms are well appointed & beds are very comfy! We have been staying there for years and we always leave very relaxed & refreshed. Surf Studio is a true gem, tucked away from the hustle & bustle of the main strip. I would highly recommend if you are looking to avoid the big chain game. Gregg and his staff feel like family…. :)"

"I grew up in Miami and stayed at The Surf Studio while in High School in 1963 on a surf trip and have been staying there ever since. I always send my friends and everyone always thanks me for the recommendation. If you want a home away from home where you can be relaxed, meet nice families and have great accommodations, make sure you stay at The Surf Studio. There is No Place as nice and friendly, clean and comfortable as The Surf Studio. We feel like family there and it is always enjoyable. Now my kids are adults and they stay there as well...! "My father worked for the Dept. of Defense back in the 60's and was contracted to work on the first Jupiter rockets launched out of Cape Canaveral. We lived in New Jersey but would travel with him to Cocoa Beach once or twice a year when he was working at the Cape. We always stayed at the Surf Studio and I have wonderful memories of playing at the beach. I'm not sure Norm was always happy with us as we ended up quarantined in their best room when my sister got Scarlett Fever but I remember our times there fondly. I'm hoping to come relive my childhood memories some time this fall."

"Surf Studio is an amazing place with an at home feel! I have recommended it all of my family and friends!
My husband and I decided randomly to take a vacation with our dog this year. As Florida residents we had many places to pick from but few that would allow dogs. We stumbled upon Surf Studio while searching for a place that would accommodate our senior yellow lab.
We had a wonderful time and truly relaxed and enjoyed the ocean. There is a relaxing vibe that makes you happy there. We met new people and made new friends out of our 'hotel neighbors'. It was like the whole place was family. I am so happy Surf Studio is still around after all these years bringing happiness to everyone.
We are planning on returning next month for a few more days of tranquility in the sun."

"Last Christmas (2013), I met my children at Surf Studio for a Christmas 'reunion'. It was so perfect that we did it again this year, and plan to make it an annual event. The property is well maintained and in the perfect location. You're just steps away from the beach and amenities include a beautiful deck, BBQ grill, and several hammocks to relax in. Surf Studio is located at the south end of Cocoa Beach, away from the noise and congestion, but just minutes away from restaurants, shops, and The Pier. The owner is on property and is friendly and ready to make your stay perfect! This has become one of my most favorite places to relax and enjoy life!"

"We just spent 5 nights there for the first time. This is by far the best place we have ever vacationed in Cocoa Beach. While built in 1948 (I think), everything is updated and modern. Rooms are super clean, beds very comfy, staff friendly and accommodating, and quiet. Nothing like the big hotels with the hustle and bustle. And to be able to sit on the deck in lounge chairs and watch the surf or take a 2 minute walk to the beach is heavenly. We have already made reservations for a week this time next year. :-)"

"My husband and I just stayed here last night and were finally able to relax. We had been evacuated from the Air Force we live on due to hurricane Matthew. After staying in a horrible hotel in St Petersburg for two day we headed back to the east coast. The owner gave us a room, along with our pets. It's an older place and we loved it so clean and the entire staff/owners were so nice. I will recommend this place to everyone. We want to go back for a staycation! Fantastic place. We are so grateful for their hospitality."
